Happy New Year from North West Kent Family History Society.
We are approaching what will be a very busy year for many Societies and Organisations including NWKFHS.
The Society is making great progress with the Commonwealth War Graves Photograph Project. Some forty volunteers have
been visiting burial grounds all over our area photographing war graves.
In the coming months the Society will be at a number of Libraries in the NWK area for drop-ins to help people with their family history. To mark the anniversary of the start of WWI the Society will also be taking part in various events at KCC Libraries.
Flickr: NWKFHS has placed many items connected with WWI at NWK Flickr In addition there are a growing number of documents, Indentures, photographs which are in private collections and the owners have allowed NWKFHS to copy them and make them available on Flickr.
